TEACHING AND LEARNING PHILOSOPHY

Image
EDUCATION The beliefs and values on education  is all about letting a child explore as an individual, learning to follow instructions, develop different learning abilities and learn at their own pace, in the early childhood environment it will help a child develop socio-emotional ways to comprehend   approaches  in situations. Being in the school environment there are many changes  in every term so a teacher should always be learning new strategies     to enhance a classroom also  teachers should be respectful to all children  and not develop favoritism and most importantly teachers should always make their lessons  fun and interactive.   PHILOSOPHIES     As the evolution of early childhood development and family studies was develop in between the 6 th and 15 th century, in the period there wasn’t any importance to a clear understanding about the different growth in childhood. REFLECTION

MY REFLECTION At the beginning of this course, things were very confusing for me because I started late. Trying to catch up on everything I had missed was hectic, but eventually, I managed to get back on track. Once the assignments were released, the pressure was on. I was placed in a group for one of the assignments, along with an individual task. Both were a bit challenging, but I successfully completed them. Starting my practicum was a mix of emotions—exciting, nerve-wracking, curious, scared, and happy. I experienced all of these feelings on the first day because I didn’t know what to expect from the children. The principal welcomed me, introduced me to the students, and allowed me to get familiar with the environment, which helped ease my nerves. During the two weeks of my practicum, I focused on observing the daily routines and class schedules in a private school setting. I paid attention to the teaching strategies, hands-on activities, and how the teachers communicated and...

QUOTE SHAPING MY TEACHING PHLISOPHY   One of my favorite quote from my philosophy Maria Montessori state "The goal of early childhood education should be to activate the child's own natural desire to learn."  By: MARIA MONTESSORI ARTICLE SHAPING MY TEACHING PHLISOPHY The Sooner The Better: Early Childhood Education, A Key To Life-Long Success ByThomas Ehrlich and Ernestine Fu, Contributor.  We write what’s on our minds. Follow Author Apr 01, 2015, 11:27pm EDT “The sooner the better” is the perfect tag line for early childhood education. There is no magic bullet to ensure a lifetime of self-fulfillment in personal and career terms. But rigorous research shows that high-quality early childhood education is an extraordinarily powerful means to promote continued success in school, in the workplace, and also in social and civic realms. It may seem surprising, but the experiences of children in their early years have disproportionately large impacts relative to experiences...

ACTION RESEARCH EXPLORATION

THE KEY ISSUES OF PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT. A school's physical environment plays a critical role in the health, safety, and academic performance of its students. Several environmental factors must be considered when planning, constructing, and maintaining a school facility: 1. Climate and Weather Effects Schools should be located in areas where climate-related events—such as extreme heat, heavy rainfall, or storms—do not disrupt daily activities or put students at risk. Rising temperatures due to climate change can affect children's health, potentially leading to heat strokes and dehydration. Proper ventilation, shaded areas, and cooling systems should be incorporated into the school’s design to ensure comfort and safety. 2. Air Pollution Air quality is vital for children's respiratory health. Schools should not be located near factories or major roads, as the emissions from industrial activities and vehicle traffic—especially carbon dioxide and other pollutants—can lead to ...
