ABOUT ME

 

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND

Upon attending  Palo Seco Secondary, I had achieve Five CXC levels, moving on to being certify as an assistant teacher then i attended the University of The West Indies, graduating with my certificate in early childhood and currently doing my bachelors in education.  I have been teaching for two years in a pre-school and  teaching my students have been successful so far where parents have personally called and inform me  that  teachers  are very  impress on how much the children knows for their age. Also I have a distinction in a medical administrative assistant certificate, which help  parents in my class feels more safe with their child getting  medical treatment if there are minor injuries  occur.

 

 

PASSION

As I change my career a million time, I finally found my real passion which is teaching. My love for children drove me into teaching even more, as I was place into a school and gotten my own classroom, welcoming these little adorable children into my life and nurturing them, teaching, grooming their little minds, taking care of them and being a mom to a full class. Seeing each child every day and interacting makes my heart fill with joy also seeing their progress in the classroom, some of these students have develop a self-esteem, confidence and communication with their follow classmates. My education goals as a teacher and my students are: To expand my teaching skills by planning more activities indoor and outdoor, developing different work exercise for the children to improve their skills in writing, identifying and their learning ability. As a teacher, my vision is to see every child strive to their best in life, building a child mentally and physically is very important especially being a role model in their lives and guiding these children to the right path.

PERSONAL GOALS

My personal goals as an early practitioner  are: always encouraging myself to be open-minded to learning different strategies to improve my teaching skills, building my courage, self- confidence, improving my communication skills with parents, making the classroom more attractive for my students to learn and becoming a better person not only for myself but for my students cause I am a role model in their lives.
